Savy Janssen

Savy Janssen grew up barefoot in Maui, Hawaii. She moved to California to study English literature at Chapman University, where she currently works as a lecturer. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa and completed her master’s degree in December 2019. In her academic research, she explores hybridity and postcolonial theory. Her work has been published in Maui No Ka Oi Magazine, Lennon Wall Magazine, and The Panther.
