Justin Tackett is a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow in the Department of English and Comparative Literary Studies at the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom. Before coming to Warwick, he researched and taught at Stanford University, where he earned his PhD in English. He specializes in British, American, Irish, and Canadian literatures of the long nineteenth century with a focus on science, media, and culture. His current book project addresses the relationships between poetry and 19th-century sound technology.
