Ben Katchor

Ben Katchor is an illustrator, cartoonist, and author of several graphic novels including Julius Knipl, Real Estate Photographer; The Jew of New York; and Hand-Drying in America. He was the first cartoonist to win a MacArthur Fellowship, and has also received a Guggenheim Fellowship and an Obie Award. He has taught at Parsons School of Design since 2007.
