Barbara Gowdy

Barbara Gowdy is a Canadian novelist and short story writer. She has written eight books, including the novels Mister Sandman (1995), The White Bone (1999), Helpless (2007), and Little Sister (2017). Her work has been nominated for major awards, such as the Man Booker Prize and Canada’s Governor General’s Award. She lives in Toronto.
