Hend Samir (b. 1986) is a visual artist who lives and works in Cairo. She experiments with numerous techniques, including painting, printmaking, mixed media, video and installation art. Samir’s work destabilizes familiar systems within the matrixial of repulsion and attraction and other supposed boundaries. Her work has been exhibited internationally and was most recently featured on Gallery Platform Los Angeles via Real Pain Fine Arts.
